We pride ourselves on maintaining a robust and vibrant marketplace of data to give our clients a breadth of choice in how they operate on the platform. With over 200 distinct partner relationships we have a lot of logistics to manage, performance to monitor, and reports to derive and deliver – all in the spirit of maintaining data marketplace vibrancy through growth. The GM, EMEA Data Partnerships & Strategy leads the team responsible for identifying, maintaining and growing the Trade Desk’s partnerships in EMEA. Considered an integral part of the Data Partnerships leadership team, your team serves as the bridge between Data Partners and the Commercial teams who help lead our advertisers to success through the use of more data to make informed media buying decisions. What you’ll do: Lead the EMEA Data Partnerships team inclusive of segments for targeting, pre-bid and post-bid, measurement & identity; identify, negotiate, contract, integrate, manage, optimize, grow and rationalize data partners to support advertiser’s needs on the platform Partner with your Global Data Partnerships teammates, Product and Commercial teams to develop a strategic roadmap to drive increased usage of data products Maintain regular communications and checkpoints with partners to report on performance, innovation and future opportunities that leverages their data to influence advertiser’s campaigns Work with commercial teams to evangelize, educate and grow the use of partner offerings Collaborate with legal to structure contracts that support the specific use cases that you are bringing on to the platform Facilitate communication internally and externally related to partnerships (demands, strategies, roadmaps, operational requirements, etc.) Represent The Trade Desk’s Audience strategy and business by speaking at industry events, participating on panels and drafting original content for publication Manage, develop and grow a team of direct and indirect reports Who you are: Experience in partnership development and strategic planning A well respected thought leader within the industry, able to command the stage at industry events and author original content for relevant publications Adept at both developing strategies and operating day-to-day within cross-functional teams Manage initiatives in complex matrixed environments and make actionable decisions in the absence of perfect information Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment that requires context switching several times in a day as you cover multiple dimensions within the parterships function Experience with strategic partner management inclusive of vendor negotiation Exhibit high emotional intelligence and integrity and build deep consultative partnerships with your business stakeholders Influence individuals at the executive level and drive strategic business transformations Track record of helping direct reports grow their capabilities, responsibilities and careers Fluent in English. French, German, Spanish or Italian would be a plus. Experience with Slack, Jira (or other ticketing systems), and Tableau a plus Experience dealing with multiple EMEA markets a plus Understanding of data workflows, APIs and integration approaches is a plus Experience in Measurement, Identity or CTV a plus The Trade Desk does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters.
