As such, we’re looking for a data analyst experienced in web analytics and experimentation to drive the analysis, optimization, and evolution of our search features. This role sits within our Customer Analytics team, which delivers data-driven solutions across the entire customer journey and supports both Marketing and Product partners. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in data analytics, exceptional quantitative skills, effective communication abilities, a passion for problem-solving, and experience with cross-functional collaboration. Expect a fast-paced organization that’s high on energy and fun!What you’ll do:Conduct A/B tests to innovate and optimize user search experiences, working closely with engineers, product designers, consumer researchers, and product managers.Evolve search analytics and reporting as needed to account for new dynamics introduced by the launch of Gen AI features on the Stock site.Develop processes and infrastructure to ensure fast, scalable search insights.Engage in deep problem-solving alongside Product and Content teams to disaggregate search performance between the quality of the search algorithm, collection of the content surfaced, and search UI experience.Employ key data analytics toolkit (data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization) to solve business problems and inform critical decisions.Effectively communicate and present concise, actionable insights using compelling data storytelling techniques to inform all product and business partners.What you’ll need to succeed:BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related technical field (MS is a plus)5+ years of experience in data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and statistical programming (Python and/or R), along with proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics)5+ years of experience in creating engaging, narrative data presentations using visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or similar tools.5+ years of experience in A/B testing and experimentation, including formulating hypotheses, designing and conducting A/B tests, analyzing outcomes, and optimizing strategies based on findings to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.Experience with user search experience experimentation; familiarity with Regex patterns and Natural Language Processing is a plus.A naturally curious approach coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to pinpoint and prioritize business growth opportunities grounded in data and experiment results.Outstanding communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $73,900 -- $167,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
