NVIDIA is searching for a highly motivated, technical engineering manager to join the Tegra system-on-chip (SoC) software organization. You will manage a team responsible for key aspects of our ARM SW ecosystem and system software architecture. With a targeted charter to enable best-in-class datacenter-scale performance and efficiency utilizing our next generation of ARM SoCs.What you’ll be doing:Lead a team that focuses on performance for emerging datacenter SoC architectures; from pathfinding, pre-silicon development, verification, post-silicon and productionDefine processes and execution methodologies for the organization to deliver on performance goals.Deliver benchmarking & telemetry infrastructure required to effectively influence design choices.Collaborate with Architecture, SW, Platform and HPC teams on product positioning, competitive analysis and go-to-market strategy for NVIDIA's datacenter SoCs.Promote full-stack adoption of performance optimizations and best practices across NVIDIA SW products & OSS SDKsUsing strong communication skills, present the team vision + roadmap to senior NVIDIA and external leaders.Provide technical leadership and career mentorship to the teamWhat we need to see:BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree or equivalent experience12+ overall years of relevant experience 8+ years experience as an engineering managerExperience with CPU server system workloads and performance analysisHands on technical experience and demonstrated excellence in an environment with complex software and hardware designsFamiliarity with SoC system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.)Known for your strong interactive, verbal and written communications skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience in the field of datacenter-scale performance and efficiencyHistory of working with high-profile customersFamiliarity with benchmarks and workloads commonly assessed by CSPs & HPC customersComfortable operating in highly matrixed organizations while holding a leadership positionWe are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, and as a result have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us.
