Balancing creative and analytical thinking, this leader will drive long-term business growth and cultural impact by managing editorial programs across curation, original content and merchandising. This role will report to the Director of Content & Editorial.What you’ll doOversee the editorial calendar, responsible for planning new launches, refreshing existing programming and aligning to our editorial prioritiesEnsure our editorial voice and content priorities are consistent across our service and global localesWork closely with leadership team to develop inspiring new ways for users to experience music and audio content Develop creative briefs and audience positioning for new programming brands, creating engaging and culturally vibrant content offerings for our listenersDrive cross-functional projects across Marketing, Artist Relations, Design, Product and external agency and industry partnersBuild taxonomy and lead tagging program to fuel deeply personalized recommendations and optimize for voice engagementDevelop and execute programmatic promotional playbook in partnership with cross-functional teams and artist/label relations Program music, talk, soundscape and terrestrial radio content in our service to drive engagement and retention KPIsMeasure the impact of editorial content and use data to continually iterate on editorial strategyWhat You’ll NeedBasic QualificationsYou have a deep understanding of the music industry and the dynamics of streaming platforms, artists and the industry.You are creative and deeply connected to culture. You have a keen sense of audio and visual aesthetic, and ability to speak to a wide variety of musical genres.You possess strong editorial judgment and experience building cohesive narratives across content formatsYou have strong organizational and communication skills, managing multiple priorities simultaneously while effectively partnering with internal and external stakeholdersYou are experienced in cross-functional collaboration, and understand the value of balancing short and long-term priorities across a dynamic product and business landscape. Preferred QualificationsYou have a high bar for creative quality and execution, with the ability to inspire and bring a team along. You have experience in content programming, development and/or production in the audio or music space. You are able to manage many internal and external partnerships by setting a clear vision, communicating clearly and executing with excellence. #LI-RemoteAt Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead  individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience.  All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity.  Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions. The starting base pay for this role for all US candidates is between: $151,000 and $168,000Please note that compensation details listed in US job postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.We also offer a comprehensive benefits program with choice and flexibility in mind to help support the health, wealth, and overall well-being of our employees.
