Prominent products include analytics tools (e.g., Web of Science, InCites), content aggregation platforms (e.g., ProQuest One, eBook Central), and library software (e.g., Alma, Polaris).We are looking for a Higher Education Strategy Analyst who can analyze quantitative & qualitative data and develop deliverables to guide our strategy for our Academia & Government business. The Analyst will provide the data-driven insights needed to drive the overall strategy that will meet our customers’ changing needs in these highly dynamic times. This role will play a critical role in driving cross-business unit strategy, M&A strategy & execution, market & competitive intelligence, and innovation opportunity identification & scoping.The senior analyst will report directly into the Senior Director of Academia & Higher Education Strategy.About you (Skills & Experience Required)Graduate/Post-Graduate in any university field.At least 2-4 years of experience in edtech or higher education with a focus on strategy, management consulting, market research, and/or higher education administration experience.Specialization or spikes in one or more of the following domain areas: Academic Research, Library Management, Education Technology, Research Funding, Academic PublishingExcellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills with the ability to work in highly matrixed environmentExperience working in an international environment which includes the US and Europe and should be comfortable communicating and engaging with clients and colleagues from diverse countries and cultures.Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite products is critical, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and OutlookIt would be great if you also had the following:Superior and comprehensive understanding of the research & library environmentProven ability to conceptualize new ideas and develop programs to capitalize on those ideasAbility to work with Product team and influence roadmap/strategy to align with current and future customer needsMS/MPH/MBA/PhDWhat will you be doing in this role?
