Manager, Delivery Management

We’re currently looking for a Manager, Delivery Management who is excited about working with senior project, technical, and other management members globally to ensure timely technical and business objectives are achieved.  You’ll be empowered to develop and enhance integration, communication, and engagement processes to improve team and product delivery performance.  You are a self-starter and who can bring structure and organization to the Content Technology area and drive solutions by bringing together multiple, distributed cross-functional teams.   This is an amazing opportunity to work on Academic and Government Content Technology projects which Support Web of Science and InCites The team consists of 4 people and is reporting to the Vice President, Software Engineering. We have a great skill set in Agile and program/project management and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Agile, Software Development and Quality Assurance.   About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments   Minimum 3 year of experience with project management working with traditional project management areas and agile frameworks. Minimum 3 year of experience working with SDLC Methodology. Bachelor’s degree   It would be great if you also had . . .   Work experience (minimum1 year) working with JIRA. Experience using MS Office applications including a good background with Excel and PowerPoint. Professional training/certification as a PMP, Scrum Manager, SAFe, Kanban preferred. Bachelor’s degree in technology or business preferred. Background in facilitating software delivery. Experience partnering with Technology and Business stakeholders. Background and strong skills gathering, analyzing, and reporting metrics. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment. Ability to think and articulate clearly, concisely, and accurately.  Excellent presentation and communication skills. Self-starter personality; comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing environments. Confident to work on projects alone as well as leading a team. An enthusiastic approach to extending knowledge and learning new skills. Strong commitment to quality of work and good attention to detail.   What will you be doing in this role?  Understanding of our Research & Analytics product offerings. Define, scope, and manage one or more projects of medium size/complexity. Work with senior project and other management to ensure technical and/or business objectives are achieved. Manage a team of delivery / project managers. Display core competencies such as Project Management, Project Delivery and Communications, Risk Management and Reporting. Ability to lead Squad and Project teams. Working with traditional project management assignments, managing, and leveraging Agile Frameworks for multiple projects, and Release planning. End-to-End cross team Project Management. Facilitate activities to build the team’s ability to self-organize and continuously improve. Develop and implement business processes to streamline project delivery. Facilitates communications to maintain and improve transparency with stakeholders. Create and track contractor SOWs Collecting, tracking, and reporting metrics and status updates Clarivate teams and stakeholders Product you will be developing  Work on Academic and Government Content Technology projects which support Web of Science and InCites   About the Team    Clarivate’s Content technology area is a part of our Academia & Government organization.  Our team’s mission is to deliver solutions to the business including content operations and provide solutions to help our customers educate the world.  Our team drives research excellence, empowers researchers to address today’s global challenges, and helps our customers improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.     Hours of Work   The team hours are IST standard working hours, with some late evening meetings.  This is a permanent role.  At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
