nCino offers exciting career opportunities for individuals who want to join the worldwide leader in cloud banking. nCino is seeking a skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to be responsible for the month end close process of the books of our subsidiaries. This position requires effective collaboration within the accounting department, internal departments, and external vendors to support our high growth rate. The Senior Corporate Accountant must have solid business and financial acumen with superb attention to detail. This role will have high visibility to the Executive Director – Corporate Controller and External Reporting, and other members of management and will have the opportunity to participate in several aspects of operating a rapidly growing business. You will have an opportunity to build strong organizational alliances to understand and mitigate financial risk and exposure to the organization, as well as capture opportunities and provide valuable support to all business partners. Essential functionsPerform the monthly close process for nCino and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with all SOX related internal controlsOwnership of accounting aspects of assigned subsidiaries working in a multi-currency environment Provide training, work direction, oversight of work and SOX reviews of less experienced team membersPrepare consolidated schedules to support our consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosuresPrepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, and expense analyses with supporting documentation on a monthly basis Prepare financial data and ledgers for purposes of financial reporting and analysisAnalyze accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards defined within the department and investigate and report on variancesCollaborate with members of the accounting team to ensure the accurate completion of all necessary assignments and perform ad-hoc tasks for the department Prepare schedules and/or documentation for interim and year-end financial statements and audit requestsResearch technical accounting issues and topics and present recommendations for considerations, as necessary  Lead business testing for new business or systems processes, in conjunction with IT, as necessaryQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in accounting or other relevant degree and 5+ years in public or corporate accounting or a combination of education and experienceDeep understanding and application of US GAAPAbility to guide and offer direction and learning opportunities to accounting team membersAdvanced financial and analytical skills and problem-solving skillsWell organized to focus on multiple tasksDeadline oriented; self-directed and accountableAttention to details with ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with matters of financial significance Proficient with MS Office, spreadsheetsAbility to work both independently and as a team memberStrong written and verbal communication skillsDesiredAdvanced finance or accounting degreeCertified Public Accountant or CPA candidateMulti-currency/multi-entity experience Advanced excel knowledge and skillsNetSuite system experienceMonth-end and year-end close process experiencenCino retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position as business operations require.
