From on-prem to the cloud, companies can get the IT asset data needed to rightsize, reallocate spend, reduce risk and maximize ROI. The Senior Director, Global Procut Quality  at Flexera is a strategic and influential thought-leader who is responsible for developing and driving a comprehensive quality mindset and approach around quality of the company's products. This includes developing and implementing quality standards, guidelines, and tools; working with engineering teams to improve their quality practices; and building a culture of quality across the organization.The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success significantly improving quality mindset, standards, approaches, & practices.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a set of quality standards and guidelines for Flexera's software development lifecycle, with a focus on cloud-native applications. With a focus on educating, guiding, mentoring, and continuously improving quality mindsets and practices across engineering teams.Work with engineering teams to implement quality practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, and performance engineering.Define and enforce quality standards, guidelines, and expectations, establishing robust governance to ensure consistently high quality.Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including product management, sales, and marketing, to integrate quality considerations at every stage of the product lifecycle.Assess key quality metrics and performance indicators to evaluate product quality, identify areas for improvement, and track progress over time.Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting quality awareness, providing training programs, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability.Qualifications:Over 15 years of experience in quality engineering, particularly in transforming quality practices for cloud-native applications and driving best in class shift left strategiesStrong skills around Regression, Automation and Performance Engineering, End to End Testing and BDD TestingBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (advanced degree preferred).Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including DevOps and Agile.Proven success in leading and guiding teams and individuals to adopt new quality practices.Executive Presence with Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Desired Skills and Experience:Familiarity with cloud-native testing tools and technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Prometheus.A mindset inclined towards data-driven testing.Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in testing.At Flexera, we foster a fun and engaged hybrid working environment where collaboration and innovation thrive.
