Job Summary:C3 Presents (owned by Live Nation) creates music festival experiences for millions of fans across the globe, setting the new standard each year for events that are as memorable as they are spectacular, including Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, TX, Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL (and seven other countries), and Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN. General Summary:We are looking for a self-starter, detailed-oriented and compliance minded Assistant Risk Manager to provide support managing our in-house Risk Management Program. The Director of Risk oversees our comprehensive risk management and insurance program with a primary focus on identifying, transferring, and retaining risks. Our department collaborates closely with our in-house Legal, Contracts Management, Live Nation Risk Management, Event Management, Safety and Human Resources departments to develop and enforce risk management policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and minimize liability exposure.Responsibilities Include:Manage internal incident reporting system and the supporting documentation required for each eventProvide support to Director of Risk for cancellation and liability claims while maintaining detailed records and organizing supporting documentationInvestigate assigned discovery and interrogatory requestsProvide contingency insurance subjectivities supportGather information from out-of-pocket damages incidents through investigation and cooperation with associated partiesCollaborate with internal department stakeholders to provide insurance related qualification feedback on contractors, vendors, sponsors, artists, etc. for assigned festival or eventReview and manage Certificates of Insurance to ensure compliance and provide reciprocal certificates per contractual requirementsProvide guidance, support, and assistance to company employees regarding the interpretation of C3 risk management policies and proceduresGather feedback/insights and recommend action items to Director of Risk for operational improvementsPerform other job responsibilities, as assigned Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field4+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with in-house risk management department or commercial insurance broker/agentEntertainment or Live Event Production related industry experience a plusExcels in a team environment and the ability to interact with all levels of employees including executive managementPossess strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills with attention to detailPunctual and reliable, with the written and verbal communication skills to handle assignments efficiently and with a sense of urgency to ensure deliverables are completed within established timeframesExcellent problem-solving skills…must enjoy a challengeFlexibility in work hours and availability, especially during major projects and eventsOpportunities to travel as neededSolid computer skills and proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointC3 Core Competencies:Demonstrate integrity in the way you operate in day-to-day business and the way you deal with people.Communicate effectively with various audiences by organizing and delivering information appropriately and listening actively to others.Proactively seek solutions to problems.
