Assistant Manager, Technical DeploymentJob SummaryProvides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors. Acts as guide to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.ResponsibilitiesTeam Management· Supervises and guides day-to-day work of team to complete their customer implementation within the defined and agreed timelines, ensuring standards are followed.·Provides immediate supervision, assigning tasks, checking work, maintaining schedules. Acts as advisor and may be engaged to resolve problems.Order Requirements & Support· Guides the team to validate and ensure order requirements are feasible, and standards are met.Project Planning· Guides the team on development of customer project implementation plans.Customer Order: Project Implementation and Delivery· Oversees and guides the team to successfully complete their projects with quality standards within committed timelines and achieving defined/set-out team metrics (e.g. Commit Compliance KPIs).Cross Functional, Customer Support · Leads the team to support and resolve cross-functional and customer support issues (e.g. customer orders, customer concerns/issues; new processes implementations).Process Support/Optimization· Leads the team to always comply with process requirements and seek areas for improvement in the operations fulfillment processes.Systems Support· Leads the team to identify, investigate and resolve system issues on the IBX operations systems.Data Support/Analysis· Leads the team to identify, investigate and resolve data issues on the IBX Operations systems.Vendor support· Provides guidance to the team on any required vendor support, working with IBX operations support team.Typical Degree & Years of Experience· Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience· Experience in Data Center Operations· Good presentation and communication skills
