We’re evolving streaming beyond the Apache Kafka® protocol into a unified “engine of record” that delivers a categorical reduction in complexity, wicked-fast performance, onboard Wasm transforms, and transparent tiered storage that gives consumers access to both real-time and historical data from a single API.
You Will:
Contribute to our Kubernetes operator and Helm chart, used both internally and at customers and members of our community
Be an expert at all things Kubernetes, influencing designs and implementations of Redpanda running over both managed and unmanaged Kubernetes
You Have:
Passion for working on deeply technical projects and wanting to work on distributed systems, concurrency & parallelism, replication protocols, file systems & correctness
Strong understanding of Go and Kubernetes
Experience and comfortable working with a 100% distributed engineering team, collaborating on GitHub, in the open and a self-starter
Excellent written communication skills

U.S. base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $215,000 (CO, TX) and $210,000 - $250,000 (CA, NY, WA). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary.
