Autodesk's Digital Experience Platform, Education team is looking for an experienced senior software developer to join our globally distributed team. You will be tasked to develop robust, and performant websites and services. Our drive is to help the education community thrive and most importantly enable them to make anything. The DEP Education team faces a variety of unique and interesting challenges such as: developing serverless applications, creating engaging end-user experiences, digging into low-level performance details, and streamlining processes. To be successful in this role, you will need a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, JavaScript modules, modern front-end frameworks, and a passion for the latest cloud technologies. This is your chance to work with a team of experienced individuals, participate in a fun and engaging workplace culture, and have your work seen and used by millions.Responsibilities:Architect and develop new featuresFocus on quality, including writing unit/integration tests and refactoring when appropriateBreak apart complex initiatives into manageable chunksWork closely with architects, technical leads, product owners, and others to drive towards a common visionLead and mentor team to follow software engineering standards, including efficiency, quality, security, resiliency, and other best practicesDesign and build solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for a broad range of applicationsProvide experience and support for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projectsCollaborate with a distributed team and stakeholdersBe a passionate and empathetic advocate of architecture, design, and software engineering principlesMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree)Experience public cloud service platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)Solid experience in serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda5+ years of relevant industry experience in Typescript and Node.js5+ years of relevant industry experience in React (or similar frameworks)Experience working with cross-functional stakeholdersExperience with Scrum and Agile development processes and methodologiesPreferred QualificationsAdvanced knowledge in architecting AWS based systemsJavaScript modules and Object-Oriented ProgrammingExperience working with AEM or other CMS technologiesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $109,400 and $188,760. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
