Core Biometrics quality engineering is responsible for Touch ID, Face ID and Optic ID. We are part Core IO & Sensors team within Core OS and work on a broad spectrum of technologies spanning across Face ID, Touch ID, Optic ID, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope etc. all the way to USB, Thunderbolt™, DisplayPort and accessory sub-systems. This is a highly entrepreneurial team, always looking for innovative ways to improve status quo and solve difficult problems in new and better ways. Successful candidate will need to get hands-on with test automation and while developing deep understanding on the underlying technologies. You will work in a fast paced environment, interacting directly with development teams within the organization as well as cross-functional teams. The nature of the position requires excellent communication skills, strong technical and debugging skills, along with a drive to make a difference. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Skilled in Python programming Experience with C and/or C++ Solid OS fundamentals (experience with iOS and macOS as a developer) Excellent collaborative skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to ramp up quickly on both new technologies and appropriate existing technologies.
