App Store, Podcasts, Music and TV apps all work with a centralized team to share application architecture and common code. We work in a variety of technologies like Objective C, Swift and Javascript. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications A track record of building product the Apple platforms Experience with performance tooling You have extensive experience using Javascript or JavaScriptCore You bring indepth debugging experience Collaboration skills, you have the ability to work well cross functionally Passion for quality and attention to detail Ability to independently learn new technologies We value strong programming fundamentals and extensive experience with both Swift and Objective-C You have an understanding of how performance impacts the business Description Description This year we are looking for all the performance optimizations we can find. You’ll be going in depth on performance and tooling, working with teams across the company to investigate performance and build the tooling to measure performance when there are dead ends. Our applications are used by millions of people around the world and even small performance wins will make a difference. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
