In this role, you will lead our product strategy for inventory supply quality at The Trade Desk. You will lead a cross-functional product team. You will work with stakeholders across the company. You will build a deep customer relationship with our agency, brand, and publisher partners to make this product a success. We value relationships and trust-building on our team. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: A track record for leading a product team to achieve complex business goals involving analytics and advertising technology. >5-10 years of experience as a Technical or Platform Product Manager working in a technology-heavy role in advertising technology, including defining the strategy and roadmap for the platforms you built. A deep understanding of RTB advertising protocols and standards, such as OpenRTB and Prebid.org. A nuanced technical and business understanding of open internet inventory quality measurement techniques A strong understanding of how ad servers are configured and how various supply-side yield optimization strategies work. Experience with driving an agenda with industry standards organizations such as the IAB Tech Lab and Prebid.org. Analytical mindset and skills to dive into the data using SQL-based tools to find insights, either on your own in partnership with data science and analytics teams A passion for protecting and growing the open Internet ecosystem A proven track record of partnering with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems and delivering large and impactful software projects. Excellent communication skills, including the confidence to participate in very technical conversations, the ability to drive consensus and commitment, and the ability to crisply communicate delivery timelines, trade-offs, and risks to senior management. Public speaking experience at industry events Durability and grit -- sometimes solutions take creative thinking, multiple iterations, and staging while dependencies solidify. Locations: Any US. The base salary range for this role is $177,900 -$326,200In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
