Summary Posted: Oct 30, 2023 Role Number: 200502145 Video Engineering Image Quality (VEIQ) team is part of VE DAQ (data analysis and quality) team that is responsible for video quality on iPhone, iPad, and Mac products! We are seeking an outstanding Camera Video Quality Engineer who has good understanding of lab quality test automation and real world video quality verification to help us deliver the best camera video quality to the world. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Knowledge of subjective/objective image quality evaluation Knowledge of ISP pipeline and 3A evaluation Strong video photography skills and have an excellent sense of cinematography Experience in C or C++ or Swift is a plus Experience in MATLAB or Python is a plus Focus on details and possess strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and strong verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate and work cross functionally Description Description As a Camera Video Quality Engineer, you will be also responsible for real world camera video quality verification, find performance bugs and do initial analysis and triaging. You will actively participate in quality evaluations for new features and algorithms, through experimental studies both in the lab and in the field and provide direct feedback to the engineering teams. You will analyze, reproduce, isolate video quality issues from both lab and real-world testing environment. You will need to be able to deliver high quality result in a very short amount of time, you will need to have strong communication skills that you could share findings to x functional partner and to our dev team. In this role, you'll be a critical part of a fast-paced, collaborative team and who thrive in a high energy, time-constrained, multitasking environment to significantly impact our video quality. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $52.40 and $78.65/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
