In this highly visible role, you will be interfacing with software, display and system engineers to support display sub-system architecture, integration, calibration, and software programming of the SOC display systems across Apple’s iOS and macOS products from architecture definition to product release. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years experience in display system engineering in the mobile space Strong understanding of SoC architecture Familiarity with display technologies, including pixel pipelines, link interfaces (LVDS, DP, eDP, MIPI, HDMI, etc.), display timing controllers and pixel technologies (LCD, OLED) Ability to debug hardware, software and integrated displays Programming experience such as C/C++, scripting in Python/Perl/Lua preferred Description Description As a member of the Platform Architecture team, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end display systems for Apple’s products. Responsibilities include: - Define and document display system architecture, including programming and system integration guidelines, in close collaboration with SOC and display architecture teams, software teams, display engineering teams - Support and guide the SOC display sub-system through hardware design, silicon and product bring-up. - Document and support display tuning: display timing definitions, image quality tuning, panel calibration - Troubleshoot and debug new display system architectures Education & Experience Education & Experience B.Sc.EE is required Additional Requirements Additional Requirements
