Key Qualifications Key Qualifications This is an individual technical contributor role that requires proven experience in system integration, bringing up, and productization of wireless communication systems! Understanding of communication theory and radio calibration algorithms (such as modulation, signal estimation/detection, gain control, and RF impairment estimation/correction). Experience, knowledge, and skills in system bring-up, integration, characterization, and debug of real wireless silicon in a lab. Experience using and understanding the theory of operation of lab equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer, power meter, etc). Experience developing test automation including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, database interfaces, and reporting tools. Knowledge of existing wireless communication protocols: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay, Bluetooth/BLE, or cellular technologies. Experience with Matlab, Python, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++. Experience with automation infrastructure development (traceability, repeatability) and related tools (GIT, CI, database, reporting tools). Description Description In this technical role, you will be responsible for system integration and characterization of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products. You will also develop the test plans, implement test campaigns, generate reports, and triage issues within the wireless silicon design group on the radio and PHY! - Integrate golden calibration algorithms for wireless transceivers in automation infrastructure. - Validate and characterize algorithms on real silicon alongside PHY, MAC, RFIC, and digital circuit designers. - Bring up and take to production powerful physical layer wireless communication system algorithms for very high data rate applications. - Design and implement the bring-up infrastructure including chip drivers, debug tools, and automation environment. - Develop and implement test plans; collect and analyze test results; identify, root-cause, and debug issues. - Champion the test campaigns through the bring-up, tuning, characterization, and other phases of post-silicon chip development. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
