As a Silicon Validation Tools Engineer, you will be part of the Silicon team, developing high performance Silicon. You will be a key member of the silicon validation team responsible for ensuring that we deliver high-quality silicon to customers. As part of the silicon validation team, you will be responsible for ensuring system software configuration meets design specification. You will improve validation and production software quality via innovations in processes, tools and automation. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Ability to see how to make processes more efficient and automatic. Familiarity with computer / system / SoC architecture Technical experience in silicon and pre-silicon validation Basic knowledge of RTL coding in Verilog Background in hands-on automation script development and optimization (using Python, Perl and C). Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Good understanding of embedded firmware/software development processes Experience with revision control systems including Perforce and git Understanding of hardware/software interaction Organized and detail oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Description Description In this role, the candidate will work closely with design, architecture and software teams to understand IP configuration requirements, develop methods and tools to automatically deliver programming specifications to software teams, and develop methods and tools to ensure source hardware specification correctness. The candidate will develop and deploy tools and methods to ensure correct system software configuration of hardware.
