Display Test Technician

The successful candidate must possess a strong background and hands-on experience in semiconductor optoelectronics device characterization and packaging. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Hands-on experience in optoelectronics device testing in a manufacturing or research environment; Ability to follow and build standard operating procedures on testing equipment; Strong ability to work independently, as well with other team members; Matlab/Python/JMP/LabView or other scripting language knowledge is a plus. Description Description This position requires basic Science or Engineering background with understanding of electrical and optical testing of semiconductor optoelectronics devices. Hands-on proficiency in semiconductor device characterization is a must. Perform optical and electrical characterization of optoelectronics devices, both on wafer and individual devices; Collaborate with packaging team to arrange device packaging and conduct routine testing; Closely work with development team to understand testing requirements, collect data and provide data/report to the team; Maintain smooth operation of test equipment; identify and report problems to engineers in a timely manner; Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work environment. Education & Experience Education & Experience This position generally requires an Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Science/Engineering with 2+ years’ work experience. The base pay range for this role is between $31.70 and $68.95/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
