The Graphics Verification Team is looking for talented engineers to help build complex, large-scale GPU products. In this role you will partner with our graphics architecture, µ-architecture, design, software and hardware performance teams to help define and deliver cutting-edge features for our Unified Shader Core (USC). Key Qualifications Key Qualifications We would like you to have 10 years of relevant experience including: Experience leading verification teams for sophisticated hardware at system or unit level Experience architecting hierarchical test benches and defining high-level verification strategies Experience guiding the development of test-bench components with high levels of vertical reuse Ability to critically analyze verification plans and share constructive feedback to ensure plans are robust Ability to manage and drive multiple lanes of team execution to meet strict schedule deadlines Deep and comprehensive understanding of computer architecture and memory sub-systems Expertise in software development fundamentals and object-oriented design principles Expertise in verification tools such as SystemVerilog/UVM, HDL simulators and waveform viewers Excellent executive communication skills and ability to foster strong collaboration among teams Graphics architecture knowledge is strongly desired but not required Description Description As an Experienced Graphics Verification Engineer for the Shader Core team, you will be tasked with the following:
- Lead a team in the comprehensive verification of a unit or sys-system within the Unified Shader Core
- Quickly learn the USC µ-architecture, build a deep understanding of how all units and sub-systems interact
- Work with architecture, µ-architecture, design and performance teams to converge on design specifications
- Define test bench boundaries and hierarchies that enable efficient and comprehensive design closure
- Oversee and guide team development of highly reusable and maintainable verification infrastructure
- Drive collaboration of high-level verification strategies to target complex areas of the design
- Critically review and provide constructive feedback for team members' verification plans
- Drive overall team execution, ensure critical program milestones are met on time
- Provide status and executive summaries of team progress on a weekly basis
