We are looking for a highly technical Software Engineering Manager with excellent leadership and communication skills who takes ownership and is committed to delivering great products. Our team builds web applications APIs and data pipelines used by teams at Apple to understand and improve the stability of all Apple platforms such as iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS. In addition to the Key Qualifications noted, this role requires a high degree of empathy, mentorship. self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to adjust to rapid change. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years experience in full-stack software development 2+ years of experience managing a team of engineers Experience with UNIX systems and a strong understanding of operating system fundamentals Experience with C, Objective-C, Swift, and/or C++ Deep technical expertise in one or more of the following: Web development, API development, Data pipelines, or ETL Experience working with cross-functional teams to define and drive product strategy and roadmap Description Description Work closely with Engineers to enable them to identify the critical path, prioritize and execute upon requirements. Drive technical innovation Grow and develop a team that owns existing internal use web applications APIs and data pipelines. Understand software development processes, different software termination reasons and how they impact quality. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Science, Math, or Computer related area. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400 and $316,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
