We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated facilities professional to join our team as an Electrical Service Specialist. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years of experience operating a micro-generation or cogeneration facility as a facilities maintenance engineer. Experience with solar photovoltaic, large-scale fuel cells, renewable energy, and electric utility interconnects strong leader and team leader. Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in use in a large central plant environment, including transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS & ASTS units, PDU/RPP units, chillers, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units. Ability to communicate effectively and provide direction to contractors and vendors performing maintenance or upgrade work on systems installed in a Central Plant and Campus type of environment. You must have the ability to understand the various complex business environments here at Apple and excel in customer service. You must have the ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and address any issues that arise day or night. A willingness to provide support in case of emergencies or other off-hours issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills and detail oriented. Description Description The Electrical Service Specialist will lead all aspects of the installation, repair, and maintenance of critical facility electrical systems and central plant operations. Perform weekly rounds of the grounds and facilities. Review shift pass-downs and communicate where needed. Plan, coordinate, and oversee facilities projects. Monitor and report on facilities' system utilization, capacities, and performance. Manage existing facility procedures and additional processes, including regular reviews to keep them current. Review and maintain site documenting, including floor layouts. Schedule and track training and safety courses. Prepare, review, and submit monthly facility performance reports. Sustain Best Practices for the Facility Team. Receive invoices and track allocated amounts. Management of vendors and contractors. Education & Experience Education & Experience A degree in electrical engineering is preferred, but equivalent experience is acceptable. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $105,200 and $158,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
