Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Passion for developing highly visible, product-defining features Strong object-oriented programming and design skills Detailed knowledge of Objective-C, Swift, C++, or C Excellent debugging and problem solving skills Willingness to work at all layers of the software stack Experience with statistics, data analytics, or related fields is welcome but not required Knowledge of Splunk is welcome but not required Description Description On a day to day basis (about 75% of your time), you will build features and relentlessly improve the quality of Safari. You will scope and plan features (both user-facing and under the hood), write and review code, fix bugs, and iterate.
A key part of your job (about 25% of your time) will be to envision, plan, design, and implement analytics that will help inform app and feature development, and to do so in a manner consistent with our belief that privacy is a human right. You will work with other engineers across all our platforms to ensure that both new and existing features are instrumented using Apple’s purpose-built analytics technologies.
This is a high-visibility role as you will also be called upon to answer analytics questions not just from within our team but also from our design and marketing teams as well as senior engineering leadership. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
