In this role, you will be responsible for creating and handling strategic partnerships with the developer communities, and present development best practices and evangelize design principles, development tools, platforms, frameworks and services to developers in Southeast Asia markets. You will be presenting in public, collaborating cross-functionally within Apple, and working side by side with developers every day. You will also support the team to work closely with Technology Evangelists and Partnership Managers in APAC, Europe and America to raise the app quality bar and deliver outstanding experience for the domestic and global market. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 10+ years experience in product design and development, and/or technology evangelism including at least 5 years of iOS or macOS development experience. Highly proficient with Apple’s development tools and frameworks. Skilled in designing intuitive user interfaces and optimizing user experience in line with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines. Effective and persuasive communicator to engage all levels of partners, ranging from software engineers, product manager to technical and business decision makers. Phenomenal listener, able to rapidly understand the other’s needs, able to make strategic decisions and lead the team to execute and improve developer experiences and services at scale. Diverse experience of managing complicated projects and driving operational excellence. Results driven with an extraordinary attention to detail. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills — works well across teams internationally. Description Description - Develop and execute a comprehensive technology evangelism and developer community strategy for Southeast Asia markets that align with the overall business goals and objectives. - Work one-on-one with 3rd party software development teams and decision makers to ensure the products they are building are best-of-class apps through UI/UX reviews and technology audits. - Present core Apple app design guidelines, development tools, platforms, frameworks and services technologies to the developer audience in an effective and concise manner. - Understand the emerging developer products, services as well as the local regulatory situation that impacts the developer communities. - Drive Apple technologies adoption in developer communities through effective partnership with multi-functional and multi-geo teams at Apple. Education & Experience Education & Experience University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, Software Design Engineering or Information Technology is required. Business and marketing a plus. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements - Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. - Highly professional, with the ability to deliver quality work under pressure and on schedule. - A good understanding of the app ecosystem, particularly for Southeast Asia markets. - Fluency in English is required. A secondary language such as Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian a plus as the role will work across the Southeast Asia markets.
