The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for experienced engineers to help us build the next generation of Web technologies for our platform. This team is working with some of Apple's most advanced technologies including spatial computing, augmented reality (AR), machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV). As a member of our organization you will assist us in defining and delivering new technologies for the spatial Web that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years of software development experience. Expertise in systems programming language, such as C/C++, Objective-C, Swift, etc. Familiarity with front end web programming technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Description Description Browsing the Web has always been an integral part of the user experience on Apple devices such as Mac, iPhone, and iPad. With the announcement of Apple Vision Pro, Apple is reimagining the Web browsing experience for spatial interfaces. In this role you will be working on the next generation of web technologies used in web pages viewed on spatial interfaces. You will have the opportunity to build upon emerging W3C standards in addition to prototyping completely new ideas. The ideal engineer for this role is comfortable exploring uncharted territory, building strong cross-functional relationships, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and has experience in both prototyping and writing shippable, long-lived code within a large shared codebase. Familiarity with W3C standards. Experience using AR/VR interfaces. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
