Summary Posted: Aug 1, 2023 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200490109 You will be a key member of a small but hardworking team of experienced Site Reliability Engineers who are responsible for the backend for www.apple.com and other associated properties. You will get to support internal teams such as Marketing, and a hand full of other customers as they handle their content and request changes to their sites! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Hands-on experience in Apache/nginx & Load Balancers Experience in automation frameworks like Puppet/Ansible/Salt Stack Git workflow experience Very strong technical background in current web technologies Strong DevOps focus with 2+ years of experience in writing Go/and Python code in developing and maintaining Web UI (JavaScript frameworks/Go Templates) and Backend technologies such as testing, creating and consuming REST APIs Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues in Linux from both an OS and Application perspective Ability to create RPM based packages using automation in CI/CD systems Deliver high quality code quickly and efficiently on current technology Experience operating in a small technical team with essential functions outsourced Experience operating a medium size environment (approx. 50-500 servers) for a critically important application Excellent demeanor and communication skills, willing to learn and self-motivated Ability to deliver projects based on requirements and deadlines Analytical mind to quickly assess sophisticated technical situations and work on solutions Continuously improving the existing environments Description Description Fast faced, ability to learn new technologies like Docker, and Kubernetes.
