Summary Posted: Aug 3, 2023 Role Number: 200494708 Our Trust and Safety team is responsible for ensuring the trust and safety of Apple services through a combination of threat modeling, data-driven policy, and machine learning. We are seeking a software engineer who can help us build and maintain high-quality client frameworks and libraries for safeguarding 3rd-party app integrity on Apple devices. We invite you to help advance and augment our existing portfolio of internal frameworks, in order to keep up with evolving platform architectures in an adversarial environment. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 2+ years developing delivering iOS (or MacOS) apps written in Swift or Objective-C to end-users Working familiarity with public-key cryptography Ability to communicate software designs to others Description Description Our team is generally responsible for ensuring trust and safety across Apple’s Services organization. You will work hand-in-hand with other engineers across App Store, OS, and Platform Security teams. We foster a collaborative work environment, and encourage solution autonomy on projects. Collaborating with partners across Apple to arrive at software design decisions that impact both internal and customer-facing features. Scoping software application requirements for new projects. Working alongside other software engineers to help maintain the team’s existing portfolio. Education & Experience Education & Experience Masters degree in either Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
