Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on software development experience Experience designing, developing and maintaining software services or solutions Strong Object Oriented Programming skills and proficiency in Python or Java Experience with microservice architecture & developing APIs / RESTful services Experience with building solutions in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.) Experience with relational and any NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.) Familiarity with full stack development, and expertise in Web development frameworks like Django or others Bonus for experience with distributed systems (Spark, Presto, etc.) Able to quickly learn new and existing technologies Bonus for UI/UX development experience Excellent communication and collaboration skills Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills Description Description You’ll be working in a team of software and data engineers to design and develop solutions that enable extraordinary algorithms that push the state of the art. The solutions will typically work on data management problems of volume, variety and velocity. You can work independently to achieve set goals, and guide others technically. Your goal is to raise the quality and productivity of the team as a whole by building services and solutions that allow everyone to work faster. As a Full Stack Engineer your job responsibilities will include: - Design, develop and maintain software services required for efficient data management - Participate in design reviews with peers and collaborators to ensure correct solution is picked - Review code with peers to provide and get feedback on implemented solution - Triage issues and provide debugging and tracking support to resolve them - Contribute to API documentation where necessary - Coordinate and work closely with team members and other engineering teams - Implement ETL pipelines when necessary Education & Experience Education & Experience B.S., or M.S., and/or 3+ years of industry experience in software development field. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
