As a Cellular Layer-1 Control Software Engineering Manager on this team, you will be at the center of the 5G/4G/3G multimode cellular effort within silicon design and software development. This position requires someone comfortable with all aspects of embedded software development, that thrives in a dynamic cross-functional organization, is not afraid to debate ideas openly, and is flexible enough to pivot on constantly evolving requirements. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years of relevant software engineering management experience In depth 4G/5G Cellular domain knowledge and hands-on embedded software skills required to lead Layer-1 Control software development, component validation and integration Good understanding of software engineering principles, and core computer science fundamentals. Proficiency with C and/or C++, compilers, build and source code control tools. Ability to set Layer-1 Control component validation strategy and drive continuous improvements and work well cross functionally. Description Description As an Engineering Manager you will lead a razor focused team to specify, design, and implement Cellular Layer1/PHY software of a state-of-the-art mobile wireless communications system. SOME OF YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: - Setting prioritization for Layer-1 Control software content management while working closely with cross functional teams. - Driving Layer-1 Control component validation strategy, including monitoring post integration metrics to recalibrate and constantly improve software quality. - Managing regressions to drive timely resolution. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related experience is required. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $210,900 and $364,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
