Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Cognitive Science, Management Information Systems, Electronic Engineering or related field. Experience and/or education must include: Data Analytics; Data Science Languages; Python and R; Debugging scripts and automation; and Bash. Description Description Multiple positions available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Validate data and ensure data accuracy. Perform various types of tests ranging from feature testing, regression testing, and automated testing. Write and document detailed test plans including using cases, detailed test cases, setting up test environments, etc. Review test plans with team members and cross-functional teams. Run detailed testing using test plans, analyze results in detail, and share test results in clear reports with the development teams and other cross-functional teams. Write automated tests using scripting languages. Develop test cases manually, understand the workflow, and write automation for the test cases. Analyze the results of automation and report it to the necessary teams. Think through complicated problems and identify solutions for solving those problems that can help detect errors in data or find outliers with data. Work with the development teams to keep abreast of the latest changes to the data reporting feature set to write new test cases or adapt existing test cases to facilitate with catching new bugs. Share automation with cross functional teams and train them on how to use the automation for their development or testing efforts. Handle detailed analysis of both internal video streaming data and customer video streaming field data and use findings to validate software fixes or suggest improvements for future streaming video features. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121000 - $190000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
