Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience and/or education must include: Analog and mixed-signal design Scientific modeling and analysis using tools such as Matlab Simulation tools such as Cadence or Hspice Circuit design and analysis of mixed-signal systems Failure mode analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system-level problem solving ASIC application design, system-level bring-up, and integration Description Description Multiple positions available in Cupertino , California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, develop and launch next-generation sensor technologies for Apple products. Design capacitive touch sensor modules and solutions. Perform scientific modeling and analysis. Design tradeoff analysis, including final design recommendation. Analyze and determine the fundamental root cause mechanisms for various non-idealities and side-effects, proposing mitigations. Perform sensor technology scoping and proof-of-concept investigations. Participate in roadmap definition and patenting. Architect proof-of-concepts and prototypes. Oversee characterization and validation activities. Contribute technical assessments to strategic decision-making relating to technology. Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams. International travel required 10%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170700 - $256500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
