The AppleCare Service Content Media Team consists of an in-house, full-service production, post-production and graphics team, providing all services related to the creation of high-quality instructional and reference content to support AppleCare. Our audience ranges from Apple technicians worldwide to partnered service providers, and we are now expanding into customer-facing content. We handle audio recording and mixing, video production and post, informational graphic design and live internal broadcast capabilities from our own secure, on-campus studio facility. Our work product is used both internally and in customer-facing venues!

Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience at an offline editorial house, corporate editorial department or in-house advertising agency, or in-house commercial production company. Collaborate and partner closely with Instructional Designers, our internal Production Team and Design Leads to take a project from assembly cut through to final master delivery. Ability to supervise seasonal contract Video Editors as needed. Strong experience with advanced Final Cut Pro X techniques and efficient collaborative workflows. A background in using music beds and other audio elements created by other team members. Familiarity with the post production pipeline: offline, online & conform, general compositing, screen compositing / replacement, picture clean up, light rotoscoping, color correction, reflection removal, image stabilization, grain removal/matching, tracking, time/speed morphs, project archiving and mixing. A shown understanding of devices, frame rates, codecs, file formats and cameras. Excellent taste to create compelling inertial sizzle reels and cut softer qualitative training pieces that will engage and inspire our internal audience. Description Description You will be working with various collaborators throughout our organization including Instructional Designers, Motion Graphics Designers and our in-house production team to create a large volume of instructional and service content for a worldwide technical audience. Familiarity with automated and custom-scripted localization processes (as our audience is global) will serve you well. This is a Lead role, so our ideal candidate possesses the ability to inspire, motivate, track and sometimes educate a rotating staff of contract Editors. You’ll be adept at planning for and anticipating composited content in close collaboration with our Motion Graphics creatives. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,100 and $212,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
