Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Develop in Swift and SwiftUI Deep understanding of iOS architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Experience with Git version control systems Possess excellent software architecture and software design skills for enterprise solution Lead technical discussions with development partners, and present design to greater team Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers an designers Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest iOS technologies and trends. Has enthusiasm for quality, attention to detail, and overall customer experience Description Description The job requires operating in a highly dynamic and cross-functional environment. You must have a strong iOS engineering background building enterprise grade solution that process all of the retail store revenue. This job will require you to: Work effectively with multi-functional engineering teams and business partners Collaborate with UI/UX designers to engineer an experiences that will impress store employees and customers Communicate effectively with teams to align on project goals, timelines, technical requirements, status, risks, and opportunities Collaborate with the team to identify innovative solutions to technical issues and implement best practices Fully understand reasons behind requirements before engineering a solution Design and implement features and functionalities using Swift and SwiftUI Optimize app performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and performance issues Ensure our application is fully accessible using accessibility foundations for all features. Writing automation and unit test cases Fix issues based on standard service level agreement Develop solutions with detail logging and deep analytics for production insights Ensures our codebase is well maintained through writing clean and manageable code, and reviewing team’s code to enhance quality and consistency Be able to juggle multiple projects at the same time and work with onsite and offshore contractors Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and a commitment Support high priority production tickets with urgency Provide technical leadership in the design and architecture of iOS applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices Share and Participate in architectural discussions and decisions, considering factors such as code modularity, reusability, and scale Love finding the needle in the haystack, and solve problems methodically Education & Experience Education & Experience BS in Computer Science, or another highly related field. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
