Summary Posted: Aug 23, 2023 Role Number: 200497625 As part of the Clinical Team, Apple is looking for a Physician who will partner with teams across the company to develop health products! Candidates must possess deep subject matter expertise in product safety including but not limited to an understanding of health and safety risks across a variety of wearable technologies. The candidate will have a strong desire to build innovative consumer-focused features, is effective at executing detailed deliverables on time, is capable of working closely with cross-functional teams, engages in open discussion and debate well, and is not afraid of a challenge! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications MD or DO who is board certified in a clinical specialty, preferably internal medicine or neurology Experience developing digital products or experience working in companies with regulated medical products or digital health products Experience with product and study safety monitoring Experience in project management and collaborating with cross functional teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to simplify complex clinical concepts into concise summaries Able to critically evaluate data from multiple sources, assess the clinical importance of the data and trends, clearly describe findings, and provide recommendations on risk mitigations Independent self-starter who thrives in complex and ambiguous environments Description Description Evaluate study protocols and individual case reports to identify potential safety risks and associated mitigations Conduct thorough literature reviews and summarize key points Define current guidelines and standards of care and identify gaps in current standards of care Develop and implement protocols and workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and study safety Communicate and manage relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders Anticipate, adjust for, and communicate problems, risks, and roadblocks. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $188,000 and $282,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
