The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a Software Screener to help us build the next generation of interactive applications for our platform. This team is working with some of Apple's most advanced technologies including spatial computing, virtual reality (VR), machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV). As a member of our organization you will assist us in ensuring our future products are of the highest quality so that they will delight, inspire and empower millions of people. A person that enjoys learning how systems work and finding ways to help teams remain efficient in the most exciting of times. Excellent communication skills are a must because of the close interaction with Engineering and Quality teams throughout Apple for this role.
Your responsibilities in this role will include being on the front line of triaging incoming bugs, analyzing logs, reproducing issues and helping to determine the correct resolvers and priority of problems. You will also identify emerging trends across the reported issues for our platform. There will be opportunities to develop automation to assist with screening and triaging of incoming bugs for our software platform. Education & Experience Education & Experience BS/MS in Computer Science OR equivalent degree OR equivalent experience and at least 2 years of experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Experience with Software QA is a plus Programming skills in shell/scripting languages (ex: BASH, Python, JavaScript) is a plus Experience in Swift, Objective-C or C/C++ is a plus Understanding of data analytics is a plus Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
