We are looking to add a System Engineer to the Power Engineering team focused on innovative solutions for Vision Pro’s power delivery. Upon joining our team, you will be directly applying your engineering expertise and working with many different teams to realize the best possible power solutions! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience in power supply design and knowledge of DC-DC power conversion topologies including tradeoffs required for size, efficiency and thermals Experience and knowledge of PMIC architecture, implementation and validation Sound EE fundamentals Experience in test instrument automation and script development (Python preferred) Expertise in a lab environment using oscilloscopes and power measurement tools at IC as well as system level Strong analytical problem solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Description Description We collaborate with a large number of groups including: Product Design, DFM, RF Design, Software, Silicon engineering and HW test to bring a product from concept to mass production.
You will be part of a team focusing on power and help deliver innovative power designs, starting from system level partitioning through successful product level implementation.
Work closely with system architects and implement power solutions optimized for efficiency, power density, cost and scalability.
You will drive detailed power circuit design and characterization during implementation phase. You will also help review schematic and layout.
Be responsible for creating power test plans and guide their execution in lab and high volume manufacturing environment.
Work with validation team to develop automated scripts for power characterization and help analyze the data.
Help with system level debug involving power.
There is some travel domestically and overseas so that we are able to work alongside our manufacturing partners to ensure success of the product. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $208,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
