Together with cross-functional teams, which may include clinical, regulatory, privacy, product design, and engineering, you will articulate and develop meaningful products that will put a dent in the universe. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 3+ years of medical device experience in a quality/compliance role preferred Familiarity with 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, EU MDR and other applicable regulations preferred Experience maintaining a medical device quality management system with a focus on post market surveillance and complaint handling for a product which has been released for consumer use Experience leading international cross-functional projects Strong organizational and project management skills Proven success on implementation of processes/procedures to improve efficiency and innovative thinking Experience developing and implementing processes for new product development activities Ability to take initiative in an ambiguous and fast paced environment Description Description An AppleCare Engineering Health and Wellness Support Project Manager is responsible for overseeing product support for all facets of Apple’s Health initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Updating Apple’s quality management system tools and procedures to support existing and future products Planning AppleCare software and hardware support for international releases of existing regulated features Lead customer support activities for new product development and introduction. Providing feedback to clinical, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, software and hardware engineering, and product marketing teams to improve future releases of regulated and non-regulated health and wellness features Preparing AppleCare’s contact centers to provide best in class support for Apple’s Health and Wellness products Producing training and support documentation for AppleCare’s various internal and external customers Protecting customer privacy and promoting user safety while assisting customers with research related questions Acting as a support liaison for Human Research partners Designing unique support experiences for multiple concurrent research studies Additionally, there are multiple cross functional opportunities that arise within AppleCare as Apple explores future Health offerings. The ideal candidate is someone who can see around corners, fight for excellence, and empathize with customers in order to design products and experiences that integrate seamlessly into the lives of others. Education & Experience Education & Experience BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Biology, or similar engineering or science field 3+ years of applicable experience in project management, preferably with health and/or medical devices Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Experience developing or supporting software medical devices Clinical research operations experience Human subjects research experience Knowledge of medical device product development life cycle
