Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years of experience in developing / designing or architecting production software (C, C++, ObjC, Swift preferred) Proactive and self motivated with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities Proven technical leadership and ability to inspire team members Excellent spoken and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and managers across technical domains Strong system level understanding Strong foundation in software design and architecture Leadership / Management experience preferred Description Description The ideal candidate must be technically strong and will be expected to provide technical direction for the team. The responsibilities will include: - Leading a team of high-performing engineers in an innovative and dynamic environment - Driving all aspects of technical development/discussion, from gathering requirements to successfully delivering features - Collaborating effectively with multiple teams and building consensus - Mentoring team members to achieve their best potential Education & Experience Education & Experience B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,000 and $301,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
