Description Description Apple Online Store is looking for a Web UI engineering manager to join our UI engineering team where the world class e-commerce experience is built.
Our UI is built with React, Typescript, Sass and is powered by highly performant distributed backend systems. As a manager, you will be responsible for planning, inter-team coordination, and ultimate delivery of your team’s projects. You will collaborate closely with our product and design team and with other teams around the world to deliver projects apple.com online store. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must to work in our cross-functional environment. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related field. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements 7+ years of combined software development and management experience across multiple frontend technologies and frameworks. 2+ years of experience managing a team of engineers and participating in the entire employee lifecycle from recruiting, onboarding, performance management to employee development. Passion for learning and working with new technologies. Proficiency with React, TypeScript, WebGL and other web technologies. Experience with internationalization and localization. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400 and $316,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
