We are looking for a driven and dedicated computer vision/machine learning research engineer, optimally with experience in 3D computer vision algorithms, generative AI, that thrives in a collaborative and excelence driven environment. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or CVML related field 4+ years of industry experience in CVML, developing computer vision products Experience applying ML models to one or more of the following areas : computer vision, AR / VR, video understanding, data-centric AI or generative AI Publication record in top-tier conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc). Hands-on experience working with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Jax or Tensorflow. Excellent coding skills in Python. C/C++ experience is a plus Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a diverse environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Description Description This role provides a unique opportunity to work on future spatial computing technologies, working with top-class researchers and engineers. You will work on some of the most ambitious technical problems on data and compute efficient machine learning and spatial AI, collaborate with world-class ML researchers and engineers to bring research ideas to production and provide technical mentorship and guidance. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
