People management experience preferred Inventory control systems expertise Procurement and logistics experience Supplier relationship management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work within and across multiple teams to deliver on objectives Proven leadership skills Description Description Reporting directly to the Facility Operations Manager, the Production Control Manager will be responsible for work order planning and inventory management systems supporting multiple device product lines. The scope of the role includes (but is not limited to):
- Ownership/upgrade of inventory management system covering raw materials and consumables (including chemicals and precious metals)
- Manage a team of technicians (procurement, line starts, inventory control, logistics)
- Coordinate with operations and integration engineering teams on planning, scheduling and executing pilot line work orders
- Coordinate with internal materials development and Quality teams to contain non-conforming material
- Own the procurement (and supplier management partnership with purchasing teams) of all materials required for Lab operations (raw materials and consumables)
- Ensure no supply gaps for Lab operations (zero interruptions in work order execution)
- Support internal customer delivery commitments by establishing a suite of critical production control metrics and ensure the goals are closely aligned with program business objectives Education & Experience Education & Experience Degree in related discipline (science/engineering/supply chain) Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
