Summary Posted: Sep 7, 2023 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200496039 Apple's Education Markets team, part of Worldwide Product Marketing, is looking for an experienced storyteller and content creator who is passionate about the positive impact that Apple products can make for universities and students around the world.
In this role you will strategize and execute meaningful ways to tell and share education customer stories that inspire and educate leaders, faculty, and students about what’s possible with Apple products in higher education.
This will include content creation and development through multiple media such as written narrative, audio, and visual storytelling. Success will require close collaboration across Product Marketing, Marcom, PR, Apple Retail, and international production teams to ensure content look, feel, messaging, and branding are consistent globally and align with Apple’s quality standards.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with leading and managing the end-to-end development and production process with higher education audiences, customers, and vendor as well as working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with internal teams that are dedicated to and focused on excellence in every detail. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years experience as a creative digital storyteller working collaboratively with a team in a fast paced content production environment. Proven origination of innovative storytelling, including experience leading photography, audio, and video/film productions. Ability to distill complex concepts into comprehensive and compelling content that connects with the intended audience across multiple media and platforms. Professional, working knowledge of digital media, videography, motion graphics, photography, editing, script writing, and storyboarding. High level of comfort developing and producing creative content with Apple products and applications. Skilled in leading cross-functional internal and vendor teams toward a common goal in a constantly changing environment. Ability and desire to collaborate cross-functionally as well as the capacity to develop a story independently. Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills with a strong eye for attention to detail. Experience working with international teams including cultural nuances for storytelling and production. Knowledge of enterprise and business markets a plus. Experience as a copywriter, journalist, producer, or art director a plus. Managing the entire creative process from concept to completion, including launches, timelines, and budgets
Produce and direct photo shoots and video production from concept to final posting that support Education marketing programs worldwide.
Manage and produce digital media content for multiple platforms, including web, social media, and presentations.
Establish and maintain project production schedules to ensure a smooth end-to-end development plan that meets project goals and quality bar.
Provide artistic, product, and technical direction for deliverables
Liaise with WW Marcom, PR and WW Product Marketing partners to maintain corporate brand alignment and Apple copy style.
Work with corporate and international Apple higher education teams to ensure consistency in storytelling and strategic approach.
Manage external agency partners while providing a collaborative environment that inspires innovation.
Bring fresh thinking and ideas, and quickly and reliably develop, produce and bring those ideas to fruition. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,700 and $166,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
