Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Passion for continually learning and exploring new technologies. Understanding of multi-tier architectures with hands on experience in one or more layers including application, middleware, operating systems, database and network. Experience in performance testing, characterization, analysis and scaling of Server applications and technologies. Transform data from multiple sources to identify emergent trends, actionable insights. Use data modeling techniques to identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities for optimizations. Proven ability in implementing load generation and benchmarking solutions that quantitatively summarize System performance. Ability to communicate thoughtfully, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a learning attitude to build long-term relationships. Own and drive issues concerning user experience to resolution. Good understanding of scaling applications in Cloud environments. Experience with SQL/NoSQL data-stores, Search and Messaging platforms. Expertise in Java or Python programming languages. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
