Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 3+ years of industry experience in manufacturing or development of electronics Working understanding and theory of Quality Methods, Design of Experiments, statistical process control methods Project management experience Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, with clear & consistent communication Technical systems knowledge related to electronics and mechanical assembly Broad software knowledge (OS & test related) Reliability methods and quality sampling methodologies with a customer focus Third party production quality & process management experience Exceptional ability to build relationships Data-driven and results-oriented approach to problem solving Enthusiastic and motivated Experience working with high volume international manufacturers and traveling to manufacturing sites Ability to travel internationally 40%. Description Description Join the dynamic Product Quality Engineering team. You will partner closely with the Engineering, Program Management and Operations teams throughout the product life cycle to enable success.
- Ensure product quality readiness for all phases of the introduction cycle, including driving contract manufacturer preparation for pre-production builds
- Own and drive key quality metrics
- Provide regular VP level communication of program quality
- Generate Product Quality Plan (PQP)
- Drive Final Quality Assurance (FQA) development, documentation, optimization & execution during new product development
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive FQA issues to resolution
- Lead quality escalations during mass production bring up
- Support and attend development builds as required Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors in Engineering, Masters or MBA are considered a plus. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,900 and $181,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
