We are looking for a Sales Training, Support & Operations Leader that will be responsible for defining the Training and Partner Readiness Strategy for the region, aligned with Business needs and EMEIA mentorship. The leader will plan, develop, coordinate, execute and track Sales Training and strategic Training initiatives to all Apple Channel and Carrier Partners across the region, support the sales teams by managing Partner authorisations, as well as compliance criteria. The purpose of this role is to increase channel partner readiness, customer satisfaction and to a certain extent customer advocacy by providing exclusive training to their staffing. The role will report to the Regional Sales Leadership and will collaborate closely with the Country Leads and local sales & advocacy teams. This person will represent the Region at EMEIA forums relating to Sales Training, and assist to identify and implement the standard methodologies from other geographies, also assisting on the deployment of capital projects. The individual will need to build the right team environment and find balanced operational excellence and creativity, with the correct measures and Key performance indicators. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications You will have extensive experience in implementation, execution and management of sales training for retail, consumer and/or telco programs around consumer electronics. You would bring deep knowledge of the retail customers, trade practices and sales training with significant direct experience. You will have deep experience in deploying and measuring the performance of scalable sales training programs via eLearning, classroom, and on-the-floor execution – as well as experience in leading internal and outsourced vendors to provide customized solutions for specific needs. We need a combination of sales and training and program management experience, with exposure to highly operational, dynamic technology goods (FMTG) channels. Experience in building and analyzing targeted requirements based on identified customers needs. You should have strong negotiating skills and be able to deliver on the training strategy with the support of direct and dotted-line reports, external vendors, and the cross-functional teams. You also have experience with objection handling – and ability to resolve technical hurdles to adoption. You have an excellent time & project management skills with a problem solver attitude, process driven, able to cut through ambiguity and drive what matters while seeing the bigger picture. You are self-sufficient and get motivation with your passion of training. Ability to work a flexible schedule and embrace change enthusiastically. You will need excellent presentation skills, proven operational process and task execution experience, matrix thinking with understanding impact and correlation among various steps, systems and processes simultaneously Description Description Support the training strategy and contracting process for CEE&CIS (29 countries), concentrated under 3 vast regions We assess training needs across sales programs and audiences and make recommendations on appropriate solutions for achieving the intended sales training objectives. We ensure the delivery of sales training to the targeted Carrier and Channel training organizations by each local sales training team. The focus of the training will include selling skills, demonstration skills and product/solution knowledge. We assist with the development of training materials as a subject matter expert, particularly in the areas of hands-on labs, interactive role-plays and in-store strategies. We also develop and submit quarterly Sales Training delivery plans in alignment with the strategy defined by the Sales, Programs and Sales Training teams. Submit quarterly & yearly forecasts on Sales Training execution and budget estimates on cost of delivery. Engage with local & regional sales/staffing team on key issues around content needs, deployment strategies and measures of success. Implement key measures around training deployment, learner engagement, training feedback, quality of delivery, competency levels, knowledge retention and behavior changes. Engage regularly with EMEIA Sales Training team on audience needs, content, metrics, and deployment plans. Provide the EMEIA team with business insight to assist on the development and implementation of capital projects impacting (examples: learning management systems, training campaigns, content design). Report weekly on key Sales Training metrics to sales, programs team and Leadership. Maintain deep understanding of all sales training materials provided by Apple. Manage the regional Managed Service Partner to secure training operations, proper trainer coverage, trainer readiness to support continuous activities Coordinate Partner authorisations in the region to secure accurate Partner setup and structure for various reporting, system access and compliance criteria Secure that sales teams and partners have accurate system access and get the needed reports on the ongoing programs Manage and develop the 2 direct reports to maintain a high quality execution on all the above listed points Education & Experience Education & Experience BA/BS preferred, or equivalent experience Educational or training background or extensive experience in one of these areas is strongly recommended.
