Heat Transfer Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Design mechanical components for personal computers. Work with engineers and designers to seamlessly integrate technology into the next generation of portable and desktop computers. Collaborate with industrial designers, product integrity, hardware, software, and technology groups to refine and execute on the design of the product. Develop initial product layouts. Generate concepts, prototyping, demonstrating, and testing to drive down-selection. Partner with external vendors and internal manufacturing teams to optimize designs for function, cosmetics, and manufacturability. Ensure design meets requirements throughout its lifecycle by performing stress, tolerance, and failure analyses. Support factory builds. Domestic Travel Required 20%. 40 hours/week.
