Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Digital Innovation or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Machine Learning 2. GoLang 3. Information Retrieval 4. AWS 5. Mapreduce 6. Algorithms Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Design and implement features and improve relevance for search systems. Implement and launch end-to-end user facing improvements using performant and efficient ML models. Implement tools, data pipelines and evaluation frameworks to enable development, iteration and launching ML ideas within the product scope. Understand product requirements and translate them into engineering goals and tasks. Build systems for an end-to-end production grade stack with low latency and high throughput. Analyze search ranking and relevance requirements, issues and opportunities. Utilize Spark, Hadoop MapReduce, Hive, Impala to perform distributed data processing. Utilize kafka or similar technology to process data at scale. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161700 - $243300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
