Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Java or Javascript 2. Splunk 3. Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD Systems 4. Design, develop and test software applications using APIs and SQL databases 5. Computer science fundamentals in algorithms and databases 6. Distributed systems 7. Building concurrent, fault-tolerant and scalable software systems Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Design and develop software for real-time and offline data analytics platform for various large scale software services. Build fault tolerant APIs for various software services to be used by applications. Design and build backend services including APIs, ad systems, recommendation and personalization system. Build large scale data pipelines using modern analytics stack. Build and deploy data pipelines and APIs using CI/CD tools. Architect and store data in data warehouse. Build and automate reports using modern tools. Optimize, clean, and filter data pipelines for dealing with user privacy requirements. Help with recruiting which includes resume screening, interviews and decision making on candidate offers. Prioritize complex tasks, performance checks, scalability issues, and user and systems security. Clearly communicate with partner teams and be an active part of strategy planning and decision making. Use technical expertise to provide mentorship to junior engineers. Work with project managers to scale, groom, and prioritize product backlog and roadmap. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161700 - $243300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
