Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience and/or education must include: 1. Negotiation Experience 2. SAP tools (including Ariba) 3. Supply Chain Analysis 4. Procurement of Indirect Services 5. Excel or Keynote 6. Cross-functional leadership coordinating initiative across operations, legal, finance, and suppliers. 7. Cost analysis, including development of should cost models Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino , California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Interface between Apple’s business teams and the industries that supply goods and services. Develop and execute sourcing strategies as well as recommend innovations based on improving technology. Develop a nuanced understanding of the commodity landscape in order to forecast industry trends and gauge emerging competitive forces. Identify changes in buyer and supplier power within markets and use industry dynamics to Apple’s advantage. Effectively work with suppliers to negotiate optimal terms for sourcing. Understand the trade-offs between cost, volume, and quality in order to strike agreements that meet performance criteria and secure long term supply continuity. Collaborate across the Apple organization to ensure business objectives are met. Rapidly synthesize and communicate findings to senior leaders in order to actively identify potential supply issues that can affect product strategy. Optimize global supply chain performance through cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes and costs, reverse logistics, and market intelligence, and apply this knowledge to influence business roadmap and sourcing decisions. Assess and mitigate risks to the business. Resolve global supply chain disruptions in real time. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $109000 - $164500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
